My morning run

I had one real goal for this morning's run - to not miss the sunrise. I got out while it was dark. It was kinda cloudy this morn...no crazy bright colors to report, but I got to see downtown before it woke up.
This was the view from the Purple People Bridge as the sun rose in the East...

And this is running across that bridge into downtown...

The flowers outside my apartment...
me, stretching...

I find that there is something calming about being up to run before the majority of people have woken up. Have a great weekend.

It's so humid up here. When I left for work I was smacked by the humidity the second I walked out the door. The haze was so thick that just looking across the street it looked like there was a fire somewhere. Looking into the valley I ride through to work it looked as if there was a heavy dust in the air, not quite fog. I wasn't on the bike five minutes and I was already wet with a combination of sweat and humidity.

Gotta love summer in new england....

I like it when no one else is around. It's so peaceful. Great pix!
